An equal world is an enabled world.
Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.
We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements.
Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world.
Let's all be #EachforEqual.
Equality is not a women's issue, it's a business issue.
Gender equality is essential for economies and communities to thrive.
A gender equal world can be healthier, wealthier and more harmonious - so what's not great about that?

Many places in the world, women are not equal!
For my mum and my beautiful daughter. Be strong.
Lettering inspired by Brendan Tull’s entry to the New Elementary lettering contest.
Here was a great woman; a magnificent, generous, gallant, reckless, fated fool of a woman. There was never a place for her in the ranks of the terrible, slow army of the cautious. She ran ahead, where there were no paths.

International Women's Day - March 8th, 2019 - 2020 - 2021
International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognised for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. It is an occasion for looking back on past struggles and accomplishments, and more importantly, for looking ahead to the untapped potential and opportunities that await future generations of women.

LNER's most important train of the day, the 1E01 05:40 departure from Edinburgh to London "Flying Scotsman" was re-branded on March 6th 2020 for International Womans Day 2020 in to "Flying Scotswoman". Marking the event the train was fully staffed by a famale only crew to show what woman can achieve in the rail business as only 16 percent of jobs in the British rail industry are taken up by females. Alongside female train managers, drivers, service and galley staff LNER's female management team was on board.
LNER currently has a 42 percent female workforce and is proud having almost three times more then average across the industry but is aiming for a balanced 50/50 mix. The shout out to woman joining the railway came only a day after the collapse of the UK largest regional airline Flybe where around two thousand cabin crew, pilots, mechanics and marketing staff lost their job over night. Poll's by LNER under it's female passengers highlighted that only 15 percent of women actually ever considered a job in the railways.
At Kings Cross the train was greeted by media and LNER's general manager David Horne.
