Illinois Terminal suburban car 415 (St Louis 1924 order 1324) @ Illinois Railway Museum, Union IL 7-25-81
This car was built for the Illinois Valley Division of IT (otherwise known as Chicago & Illinois Valley) which ran from Joliet to Princeton, as their #64. When the IVDIV ended operation in 1934, 64 was rebuilt as a double-ended car, the toilet was removed, and it was transferred to St Louis-Granite City suburban service. After IT ended passenger service, 415 was aquired by IRM and became the first car to operate at Union. For a long time it was a fixture of their operation.

Illinois Terminal Class B locomotive 1565 (ITS Decatur shops 1910) @ Illinois Railway Museum, Union IL 7-04-85
Only 2 Class B locomotives survive, this one (which is the only operational one) and 1575 in St Louis. There is only one Class C in existence (at NMOT) and there are no survivors of IT's largest and most powerful freight locomotives, the streamlined Class D, which were rebuilds from Class C's.
Two notable diesels occupy the barn at Illinois Railway Museum in this May 25, 2009 photo. On the left is Illinois Terminal Railroad (ITC) GP7 #1605, built in 1953.
On the right is Ingersoll-Rand #91, an early diesel built in 1926 by ALCO/GE/Ingersoll-Rand. It has an Ingersoll-Rand engine in it. It was originally Delaware Lackawanna & Western #3001. DLW sold it back to Ingersoll-Rand in 1951. IRM acquired it in 1984.

ITC cheek rest, imported from the USA.
DSA use ITC cheek rests on their SA58 range of rifles, so I thought it would be great to add one to my replica. I must say a big thank you to the nice guys at ITC as they do not normally ship abroad, but did so in this case.
