I was a few hundred feet from Sen. Barack Obama and behind hundreds of very excited Democrats.
Taking this series of photos was quite hard as I had to hold the 40D as far above my head as possible with live view on, zoom to 105mm @ iso 1600 and then digi-zoom 10x to focus on him and take the picture.
I had to boost the ISO quite a bit, 1600 infact to get the shots that I did. I have never had to shoot this high before but at the focal length, poor light and distance I had to do it.
If you view the image in its original size you can see the noise but the shots are still usable.
These shots are all unprocessed.
The Rally was very cool and we were much closer than many of the others there to see him. I just wish I had a place on the Media stand to get crisp close pictures :)

ISO 4000. I reworked this one, decreasing some of the noise, unfortunately at the expense of sharpness. Good moment captured I thought.
