Annual car show and swap meet dedicated to Volvo automobiles at the headquarters for IPD, a company specializing in Volvo parts. I was inspired to fix up my 1984 245 DL wagon.

"Removal of the old exhaust pieces is the hardest part of this job."
There is truth in them words. All said, though, 2 hour job. This, I count among the very easy of jobs performed on old cars where more rust than steel often exists and parts have been hacked and modified along the years. Next stop: timing belt w/ tensioner, front (cam, crank and layshaft) and rear (cam w/ retainer plate ) oil seals. Then a conversion to fully synthetic oil.
