Hat der Künstler mit etwas gerungen? War er oder sie glücklich? Ich frage mich diese Fragen ebenfalls, wenn ich selbst künstlerisch tätig bin. Wie kann ich die Menschen emotional erreichen, nicht allein durch technisches Können? Es macht mich sehr glücklich, wenn ich das Gefühl erfassen kann, das ich übermitteln möchte, und es schaffe, es durch meine Kunstwerke hervorzurufen.“

Die Künstlerin verspannt Fäden in großen Räumen, was einen enormen Aufwand an Zeit und Arbeit bedeutet, tagelange Handarbeit mit vielen Helfern und Helferinnen. Bei einem Werk waren das zum Beispiel 800 km Wollfaden (La Sucrière, Lyon). Chiharu Shiota verbindet die Fäden so, dass ein loses, ungeordnetes Netz entsteht, an manchen Stellen dichter, an anderen lockerer, die Fäden verschränken und verknoten sich zu einem Gespinst. Wie Nervenbahnen eines menschlichen Gehirns oder Körpers. Manchmal spinnt sie getragene Schuhe, Betten, Kleider, Scheren und ab und zu auch sich selbst ein.

bin zu müde um zu malen..und doch will was verarbeitet..ausgedrückt werden in farbe und form...nun der versuch dies digital zu gestalten...mal schauen was auf diesem weg entstehen will.

The fall colors and wood ducks in breeding plumage are very popular in this time and place. A lot of people come to that park to see them. They get very friendly and come very close, due to some people feeding ducks. This is a shot done on the less sunny part of the bay where they hangout. Even if the keeper rate is much lower on this side I kind of like the result as the colors are softer. If you get there try taking shot in low light even if it's not intuitive that would work. You might be surprised by the results.
