Robin taking a bath on one of the hottest days

A bench in a garden is so inviting , well that is until the bees come around 😂. Have a great day and weekend ahead. Thanks for looking.

The young green lizard male was sunbathing on my fence.

Little Redstart and I were enjoying the sunset this evening in the garden with social distance between us.

Be well my frieds, stay at home and thank you for visiting.

I may share ...

Mana the wonderful cat rather enjoys a rest on his ponga log. I like that he's smooched it and has ponga bits on his whiskers! He's such a character. Currently sleeping on a chair near me wrapped up in a light blanket that he got under himself which always cracks me up, he's like a dog in some ways!

I spotted this teeny weeny butterfly attached to a grass seed head in the garden and couldn't resist trying to get a shot of it. I've looked it up online and I think I can identify it as a 'Brown Argus'

We got a most welcome and very cooling sprinkle of overnight and morning rain a few days ago ... I'm sure I could hear the garden singing.

Woody checking the flower beds

Taken earlier this May I was thrilled to see the cardinals in the garden. Their song is distinct which gives me enough time to grab my camera. We haven't had a cardinal pair (they mate for life) since we lived an hour west of here. So to have a pair is a thrill. They will eat together at the feeders. Hoping to have a nest some day:)

Thank you so much for dropping by and be well!

Stunning deep pink rose and bud.

Deep and hot pink roses convey appreciation, gratitude, and recognition, making them a great way to say "thank you!" Light pink roses are more often associated with grace, gentleness, joy, and happiness.

In my garden, wild herbs (plantain, sow thistle, dandelions ...) always attract small insects ... the opportunity to train me in macro photography ...

Thank you all, for your visits, faves and comments, much appreciated

On a wet and windy day, this lovely bird just appeared and stayed for almost an hour 😀 Great experience!
