The 12 Enviros at Bootle differ from Birkenhead's in several ways: Bootle's were delivered in the older Arriva livery, are equipped with the latest Euro5 engines and have a different interior style. The seats lack headrests and are fitted with the coloured blocks moquette, while the floor and poles are the older black and yellow arrangement. All-in-all, these are nice buses and arguably superior to Birkenhead's despite the seating.

I extensively photographed the inside of this Wendy's almost nine years ago, but it was only recently that I discovered that the interior had been redone sometime not too long after my visit. It's much more plain now compared to the previous remodel from the early 2000s: light blue walls, wood laminate furniture, and partitions with graphics engraved into the glass. This is the only Wendy's in the Hampton/Newport News area that isn't up to date, so I wonder when they'll finally give it the same look all the other locations have.

Stuck at home with social distancing - remembering the beautiful architecture of the churches in Budapest, Hungary.
This is St. Georges Church on Portland in Dorset, generally regarded as one of the most magnificent 18th-century churches in the county. Although it hasn't been used for worship for many years, its interior is amazingly well preserved - with the numbered box pews and twin pulpits all clearly visible in this photograph. The building is currently maintained by the The Churches Conservation Trust.
This is an HDR image constructed in Photomatix from 9 seperate exposures. I've also done some further post-production work in Photoshop, to add selective contrast. I'm slightly annoyed that in my efforts to get the camera level I failed to notice that it was positioned slightly off centre of the aisle. This (now) obvious cock-up made me think twice about posting the image at all. But I'm pleased enough with it in all other respects to endure the ignominy of such a schoolboy error!

As I mentioned a couple of posts ago I spent a weekend driving around Sweden with some of the guys 'n' girls from the local photo club.
Well, here is the first shoot from that trip, it's from a place called Töcksfors, here you can find this - I don't know if this is the right English word for it - old car scrapping yard right in the middle of the forest - click on the geotag link below to see the exact place.
It's a pretty big place, and there are some really old cars with moss and leaves all over, I really recommend this place if you are into making photos of old decaying cars.
For me personally it's not that big of a kick but I did get a few decent shoots out of it

HDR made from 5 RAW exposures in Photomatrix, imported all the images into Photoshop, masked back the highlights areas, desaturated the red color, and finished it off with Topaz Adjust "Dramatic".
