A familiar interior. There's a very good chance I've ridden in this particular carriage while it was in service - possibly more than once. There's also a very good chance I've taken a nap in it.

Sarah's area at work had a catered recognition dinner at the James J Hill library. I was ignoring people and trying to figure out how to get up to the balcony and hang out.

This interior shot of the fort captures the complexity of light and textures as well as the richness of the architectural details. This shot is of the south west end of the Fort Point officers quarters. The room has layers of paint, plaster and lath peeled away showing the building technique and the original masonry walls underneath. The south wall is against the bluffs of the Presidio Cliffs This side protected by the bluffs housed the officers and enlisted men within the fort. the other three sides carried the cannon protecting the bay.

Any ship coming within the bay would be in the sight of the fort's guns.

Another 3D-interior model :) I've been working on this on and off for about two months. Now it is pretty much finished so here you go!

It's finally ready! Built for the Brethren of the Brick Seas, the Henri took a little over one month to build, and a little less than that to edit (I did have a lot of other things to do, btw!) A fast trading ship, the Henri has a complete interior, an armament broadside of three 18 pounders, and a very exhausting amount of rigging! She is owned and commanded by Captain Whiffo, a high ranking member of the ETWC. Myles Bowditch (my sig-fig) is the first mate and navigator, and the second mate is behind the wheel. The others are the cook and a passenger (the rest of the crew happened to be below deck when I took the first pictures, and on deck when I photographed the interior, or something like that, haha!)

The Henri was greatly inspired by the Putnam and Koen's De Ruyer Frigate. Thanks for viewing, C&C are always welcome!

The interior of the so-called College of the Augustales at Herculaneum. Even wood survives here...

Shot of the upperdeck rear interior of one of the loaned Glasgow Tridents.

Note the seats have been retrimmed for Glasgow with the later Barbie interior style trim. Note also the vandalised seat that has been repaired back with the old style trim. The rear seats also face towards the rear unusual on upperdecks in Aberdeen.

The upperdeck windows are badly etched from there Glasgow life. Stagecoach Bluebird would always reglaze vehicles transferred to Aberdeen with etched windows fearing it may encourage the locals to start etching. Hopefully First Aberdeen will also reglaze those that they intend to keep when the loan ends.

Apart from that the interiors are fairly entact although there is no working heating in this particular Trident so hopefully this is not one of those that stays.

Apart from a Ferrari, no car is more recognisable as classically Italian than the FIAT 500. Replacement for FIAT's much-loved 500 'Topolino', the Nuova 500 debuted in 1957. A radical departure from its predecessor's essentially pre-war design, FIAT's new baby featured unitary construction, a full-length opening (trasformabile) fabric roof and all-independent suspension while carrying its engine at the rear. The 479cc power unit was an air-cooled overhead-valve twin, the first such used by FIAT, and the gearbox a four-speeder.

The austerity of the basic 500 - it was known as the 'Economica' - was not well received, prompting the swift introduction of a revised and better equipped model, which first appeared towards the end of 1957 at the Turin Show. Refinements incorporated in this less Spartan version included wind-down windows, an upholstered rear seat, column-mounted switch gear stalks, and hubcaps. Introduced in 1960, the 500D used the 499.5cc engine of the 500 Sport in de-tuned form, which nevertheless brought with it a small gain in horsepower. With the introduction of the 500D, the short sunroof first seen on the Sport became available on the standard saloon.

The Nuova 500 was an immense success for FIAT, and by the time production ceased in 1975 almost 3,000,000 of these adorable little cars had been sold. The original FIAT 500 remains as popular today as it ever was and recently was voted 'Sexiest Car' by the readers of the UK's Top Gear motoring magazine.

This FIAT 500D Trasformabile was sold new in Terni, Italy in September 1964 to one Leandro Grilli and comes with its original libretto and current Italian registration papers. According to the original Italian documents the car has had only two previous owners in Italy. Presented in the lovely colour scheme of Verde Acquamarina over a red interior, the car has benefitted from an extensive restoration to a very high standard which was finished in 2016. Today the car is still presented in excellent condition, ready to be enjoyed.

My assistant has an amazing house, so we did a training session the other day.

It was the first time I forgot extra batteries while I was out shooting!
