This common year-round resident of the deciduous and mixed forests of eastern North America is also found in older urban and suburban areas with mature trees and vegetation. The Tufted Titmouse's gray-crested head, rust-colored flanks, black forehead and large eyes make it easily identifiable, even for casual birders. It is a frequent visitor to bird feeders during fall and winter where individuals prefer sunflower seeds and suet, and often cache many of those seeds throughout their territories. This is an active bird, moving along branches, and often searching under them, for arthropods. It is also a vocal species, frequently uttering contact calls and chick-a-dee calls and, in spring and summer, singing its ‘peter-peter-peter' songs.
Tufted Titmice and chickadees are ‘nuclear' species, often joined in winter flocks by a variety of ‘satellite' species. As a ‘nuclear' species, titmice influence the paths that flocks follow, are aggressive mobbers of potential predators, and often take the lead during mobbing events. The calls that titmice utter when mobbing provide information about the presence of predators for heterospecifics as well as conspecifics
During the past 70 years, the range of this species has expanded northward into New England and southern Canada, with climatic warming likely the most important factor, but bird feeders also a factor. The northern distribution of titmice is likely limited by average minimum temperature rather than food availability.
I found this one in Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida.

I haven’t had that many opportunities over the years but what I have had I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. The latest images
are a random collection of ships and boats etc., I have taken in the past, plus a few paintings and book illustrations.

Very often I take a photo with an image in my head. That sounds stupid I’m looking at the damn picture through the view finder, but what I mean is I have an image in my minds eye of what I want that photo to become. More often than not I fall short of my expectations. Usually the reason for this is that I’m following an ideal of something I’ve seen before, where is not important but it’s in my head, whatever the catalyst from the scene in front of me it was to far from that ideal that all the processing in the world was not going to get to where I was trying to go. So I end up experimenting to achieve a satisfactory compromise and I move on. However with this photo I feel I hit the nail on the head. Starting with taking the photo I took several interpretations over a few days, different lighting, including the sky or not and different focal lengths. Apart from the right light the focal length was really important as it needed a long one to compress the curve in path so it stood out, this in turn discounted the sky. So by now you’ve gathered I’m happy with this image, for now, If you have made it to here I would be interested to know if you can spot any influences in this image.
Anyone who has done a road trip around March or November in South Africa has witnessed the explosion of pink and white flowers on the side of the road! This pink and white countryside landscape drawing is very familiar to many South Africans.
Painting cosmos flowers in watercolour was one of my Grans favorite subjects and has always been a familiar sight in my house. Paintings of the famous pink and white flowers in landscapes or flower arrangements were scattered around the house. So, of course that influenced and inspired me to draw cosmos flowers in my own style.

I've caught a bad cold, and haven't been able to smell anything for over a week. So, on the bright side, it doesn't bother me at all if Heidi brings her stinky new toy containing valerian root inside. However, I'll have to kick it out about a week before I get any visitors with fully functioning noses and olfactory nerves... ;-)

This is my favorite look, because she is perfectly imperfect. The head is beautiful but the nose has got somewhat of an angle to it, not that perfect button nose look. Deetalez is just, well, Deetalez. There is a subtle texture to the skin, not just glassy flawless skin. The freckles and moles are a nice natural touch that will separate yourself from others on the grid. Through my years in SL, i've came to appreciate the imperfections in my many different looks. These creators above have helped me with my creation.

Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by The Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, nearly a month following the official announcement of the group's public break-up. Concerned about recent friction within the band, Paul McCartney had conceived the project as an attempt to reinvigorate the group by returning to simpler rock 'n' roll configurations. McCartney said he had the idea of the song "Let It Be" after he had a dream about his mother during the tense period surrounding the sessions for The White Album in 1968. Mary Patricia McCartney died of cancer in 1956, when he was fourteen. McCartney later said: "It was great to visit with her again. I felt very blessed to have that dream. So that got me writing 'Let It Be'." In a later interview, he said about the dream that his mother had told him, "It will be all right, just let it be." (from Wikipedia)
This is maybe my 2nd or 3rd favorite Beatles album, but I remember that I listened a lot at home when I was a child. I love its raw sound, without all the orchestral and experimental sounds, setting the basis for the 70s and 80s rock music.

The scene was backlit by a [pro]master VL1144 steady studio light through a 24" x 24" soft box, with a colorful translucent background placed in front of it. A single Nikon SB900 speedlight, fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄64 power through a Neewer 24" x 24" soft box, was placed at 4:00 for fill.
The speedlight was triggered by two PocketWizard Plus X flash triggers.

Poulsbo Washington was settled by a Norwegian in the 1880’s and then became a destination landing spot for Scandinavian immigrants since, referred to as little Norway, it is a charming little town with a delightful downtown with much Norwegian influence. It was named Poulsbo after a Norwegian village of the same name as the Olympic mountain range and the Puget Sound reminded the settlers of the fjords of Norway. The architecture on Main Street definitely reflects the bright Norwegian & Scandinavian influence. The boat houses at the Obersee, which is a smaller lake at the southern tip of the Königssee in Germany, are famous among instagram influencers and photographers alike. When you arrive early you may avoid at least the former. This morning a cow seemed to make fun of what would become a popular photo opportunity only hours later. Well played.

Kiley: (bounds down the hallway followed by Skyler) Hey, Mom! Where's the leftover plastic from when we repainted my bathroom?
Nicole: (suspicious) Why?
Kiley: (grins) We're not painting.
Skyler: It's for the transformation. In case we spill stuff.
Nicole: What could you spill?
Kiley: There's the concealer, it's liquid, and cover powder sprinkles, and the activation fluid is fluid. (the girls laugh) We just don't want to make a mess, Mom.
Nicole: Well, thank you for thinking about that. (smiles) I think your dad left it in the garage. Check in the green bin, under the work bench.
Kiley: Thanks, Mom!

The church is a Co-cathedral to the Eparchy of Piana degli Albanesi of the Italo-Albanian Catholic Church, a diocese which includes the Italo-Albanian (Arbëreshë) communities in Sicily who officiate the liturgy according to the Byzantine Rite in the Koine Greek language and Albanian language. The Church bears witness to the Eastern religious and artistic culture still present in Italy today, further enhanced by the Albanian exiles who took refuge in southern Italy and Sicily from the 15th century under the pressure of Turkish-Ottoman persecutions in Albania and the Balkans. The Forehall is decorated with later frescoes of comparatively little artistic significance. The frescoes in the middle part of the walls are from the 18th century, attributed to the flemish painter Guglielmo Borremans.
Since 3 July 2015 it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale.

Kiley: Her drip is fire already. I want to see what it does to somebody chopped, like me.
Skyler: You are NOT chopped. You're totally normal and nice and there's nothing wrong with being those things.
Kiley: I want to do it now!
Skyler: We have to wait until 9:10.
Kiley: (pouts) I don't see why.
Skyler: It doesn't work. Remember Heatstroke69?
Kiley: He might not--Oo! Look! Look! Kaypopular999's back in the group!

Nicole: Slow down before I have to give somebody the Heimlich maneuver!
Kiley: (her mouth full) Don' wan' oo mish un.
Nicole: Chew that all up, take a drink, then try again.
Kiley: (hastily chews, swallows, downs part of her beverage, clearing her throat) I don't want to miss another transformation!
Nicole: A what?
Skyler: (explains) It's a makeover, Mrs. Davis.
Nicole: Oh, I see. (smiles) Can't you pause it?
Kiley: It's a livestream, Mom. It's Mia Murony's channel! She's fire!
Skyler: SO much fire. (agrees)
Nicole: She must be.
Kiley: See you later, Mom! (she and Skyler grab their drinks, dashing back to Kiley's bedroom)
The new, but somewhat temporary lights on the Bay Bridge are almost mesmerizing to watch. The display is only up for the next two years. Although the computer generated patterns repeat over the course of a few minutes, each visit brings different conditions for which to view them. The fog layer was very low here creating a canopy of light to set off another lovely Bay Area evening.
