iPhone app "LED Message" and custom stencil. Once I get all the materials for the Digital Light Wand www.flickr.com/photos/txross/5924777908/in/photostream I won't have to paint messages with the phone.
Since the message painted backwards (doh!) I won't be submitting to the contest since I had to flip about the vertical axis. Will try again. Also not impressed with the edging around the outside of the stencil. Since my flash bit it I'm having to use a flashlight and angle it around to cover the design.

The Impossible Project
No, you're not crazy - I have not jumped on the Instagram bandwagon. This is an honest to god Polaroid - the first one we shot on a 30 year old camera! Mark found his dad's old Polaroid 620 and we set out to find some film for it. After some initial disappointment upon realizing that Polaroid Integral film is no longer being manufactured, we found out that The Impossible Project has taken up the mantle by producing their own color AND black and white instant film. They're headquartered in Tribeca and have a great space dedicated to all things Polaroid. There were some amazing shots done on instant film in their gallery, and they had a huge wall of Polaroid cameras. Definitely worth it to drop by if you're in NYC and can handle taking the slowest elevator on the planet (we ended up walking because it got stuck somewhere).
This particular film has a black border (you can still get the traditional white). And yes, I think Mark is getting tired of me dropping Brooklyn into a ton of shots.
