nature is a never ending source of beauty, inspiration and magic....

Walking on the beach at low tide, it was a grey cloudy morning but then the sun burst through the cloud casting a beam of light across the sea and beach.

On a similar theme, the low angle morning sun illuminates the forest.

The mist dispersed very quickly this morning after I captured this.

It seems to be that this particular plant seems to hide from the limelight by turning to one side!

Something completely different for me and out of my comfort zone; a light show in Carlisle Cathedral.

"Kobe Luminarie"-stands for the requiem for the victims at the Great Earthquake in Kobe-January 17,1995.

It is fir the revival of the city, dreams and hopes. The first time was in December, the same year as the earthquake.

"Luminarie"means illminazione Per Feste.

I had occasion to visit Hempstead church recently for a project requiring some photos.

The oldest part of the church is the chancel, which was built in the 13th century. The nave was built in the 14th century. The nave used to have aisles, but these were demolished in the 15th century.

This secluded building is less than a mile from the North sea in the civil parish of Lessingham.
