I was so impressed with the results of the Caffenol cross-process earlier that the same evening I tried processing a roll of Ilford PanF Plus I had finished off the night before at a San Jose Sharks game.
This was shot with a Canonet QL-17 and processed with a slightly different version of the Caffenol recipe, this one with a lot more vitamin C than I've seen elsewhere: 300ml water, 18g washing soda, 4g vitamin C crystals (normally I've seen about 1g suggested) and 12g coffee crystals. (I've since been told that the extra vit-c helps prevent the film from fogging up which is known to happen with PanF and Caffenol.)
Developed for 10 mins @ 20C with inversions for the first minute then 3 slow inversions every 30 seconds thereafter.
I didn't use a stop bath, just washed twice with 300 ml of water @ 20C (this stuff stinks up your stop bath baaad), then fixed with Ilford fixer per box instructions and a normal final wash.
The negatives were scanned with an Epson Perfection V600.

Managed a small visit to the British Museum last November.. even if the exhibits are overlooked, the architecture itself can be enjoyed for hours..

I was experimenting with Ilford Pan F Plus ISO 50 Black and White film in these shots. I found several things I like about the film. It's an extremely fine grain film. I was experimenting with depth of field in these mantis shots. Some were shot handheld with a very shallow depth of field to throw the background out of focus and give surreal bokeh. Others were shot with a tripod, small aperture and slow shutter speed. I've always wanted to take a picture of this. A pretty popular wedding picture spot. I've seen them filming a movie or TV series here too.

Today I decided to keep my Pentax 645N close by and loaded with Ilford Pan F Plus. As I saw different members of my family throughout the day, I'd snap their picture. Film was developed in Perceptol (17 mins).

From the August night meet-up at UNM. I thought I had lost this film somehow (never happened to me before), but found it a couple days ago in the back of my fridge.
I had to tilt the enlarger lens about 5 degrees and easel about 15 degrees to correct for vertical convergence. Paper exposure was made in a very gentle gradient to compensate for the top of the photo being closer to the enlarger. A view camera or tilt/shift lens would have been nice at exposure time.
Exposure data unrecorded. It was probably shot at f/5.6 to see through the wire fence that was an inch or two in front of the camera lens. Film rated at ASA 25 for contrast control. Printed at grade 3. Enlarger focus was "close enough" (lens stopped down pretty far, though) since my grain focuser doesn't work when tilted.
Scanned from silver print.
