Bridge over Silver Lake Outlet.
Friday, March 17. Back to Letchworth and the Gibsonville Trail. There was a lot of water flowing though the Silver Lake Outlet. Just past the start point is a good place to get down to water level and look back at the Park Road bridge.

A flower in the stone wall, and a photo-bombing tripod.
When I got up the endless (so they seemed) stairs and switchbacks, I found a little flower in the stone wall by the parking lot at the top. It was further from the ground than my tripod would reach so I held the tripod firm against the wall for the photograph.
The exposure was about right for the leaves and a bit of the stone but too much or too little for most of the rest.

My friend Jim bought some land south of Rochester years ago and has been working on it a bit at a time, planting trees, clearing underbrush, building a fine shed, and building a tree house for his grandchildren (who are in the same age range as were his daughters when he bought the land).
It is a simple but sturdy structure set about ten feet off the ground between four corner trees, with tarps for sides and roof. The Ondu 6x6 and I climbed up the ladder for a look.
