Friday on the way to Bonnavista this Moose was on the side of the road returning home from a weekend shooting with the good folks from Camera 35 as well as Bill and Joyce from CAPA He showed up again Sunday very close to the same spot but the opposite side of the road and struck the pose for six photographers at once.

Fate Presto! (Andy Warhol)
Nella serie Disaster, datata agli anni sessanta, ha modificato fotografie di cronaca attraverso la serigrafia. In Fate presto, l’artista ha ripreso questo precedente, riproducendo la prima pagina del giornale “Il Mattino” a seguito del terremoto in Irpinia (23 novembre 1980), con un’immagine delle macerie e l’appello “Fate presto”. Il filtro rappresentato dal processo di riproduzione e ripetizione conferisce all’immagine un carattere di freddezza e di distanza. L’artista si è concentrato sull’idea di catastrofe. La morte è il tema centrale dell’opera.

In the series "Disaster", Andy Wahr, altered photographs of the news through screen printing. In "Fate presto (Hurry up)", the artist has taken over this before, playing the first page of the newspaper "Il Mattino"following the earthquake in Irpinia (November 23, 1980), with a picture of the rubble and the appeal "Fate Presto. " The filter represented by the process of reproduction and repetition of the image with a character of coldness and distance. The artist has concentrated on the idea of catastrophe. Death is the central theme of the work.

This is Cindy. She's my very good friend who's all the way in Plattsburgh, and I miss her very very much (even though I just saw her last week).
I love the green of the glass?/plastic? bus stop here. It's a beautiful backdrop. I'm sure I could have taken a way better picture, but I'm a stupid amateur. I got rid of my ugly reflection in it, and I think I did a pretty good job--you can't even tell really.
