The Jewish Federation of Oklahoma City gathered on November 18th for its 9th annual Take a Bite Out of Hunger Volunteer Day. In total, 30,851 pounds of food was packaged for the the Regional Food Bank's Backpack Program and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.

Among their demands was the restoration of political status- they were wiling to die in the name of having their struggle and the history of resistance to British rule defined as "criminal" rather than political. Look how young they were. And note the 'H' shape- a reference to the "H Blocks" (Maze prison) where the prisoners were kept.

The Hunger is a biannual magazine from photographer and publisher, Rankin. 500 pages and not that much ads. Worth checking. Stunning photos too.
All numbers comes with two different covers. One with male and other with female model. Male version was 2,10€ cheaper in local bookstore. I demand equality :)

We were humbled to witness Nature in action on our last day in Yellowstone. This wolf, with the help of its pack, had been chasing this female bison earlier in the day. She and the larger male bison had swum across the Yellowstone River to escape the wolves - this lone wolf managed to cross the river and follow them here.
We think the female bison was quite wounded, as the male bison had stopped defending her by the time we got to witness this scene. The wolf would patiently wait until her guard was down and then approach her.
We did not witness the end...this scene probably played out for a few more hours, and the rest of the pack likely joined this wolf after sundown. It was quite an amazing and intense sight to see...For me, it was so incredible to see a wolf in the wild.
