This was Christmas lunch for my friend and I. It became an accidental middle-eastern feast, through no conscious planning of my own!. Pictured from right to left: Cardamom rice, chickpea and coriander salad, bread, roast red peppers, tahini (without the garlic, so not really tahini), beetroot humus, falafel and aubergine roasted with cumin. We also had (not pictured!), non-dairy fruit desert - vanilla with honeycomb, and turkish coffee (strong black coffee with cardamom and vanilla sugar). All accompanied by a gorgeous middle-eastern soundtrack.
