This is a big collage. I resized the images just a little bit, all these shots were taken on a tripod to use ISO 100 and avoid noisy pictures. From the Kuwait International Auto Show 2007.

I was really impressed by this conversion, I was actually very surprised to see it at the show, but it was a pleasant surprise. I'm a big Transformers fan and have been ever since I was 5 years old. I also went to see the movie the first day it was released back on the 4th of July and I was very much pleased with it.

This is one of my favorites from the shoot.

Surprisingly for a LR product i'm fairly certain this little model of a Hummer H2 isn't actually a copy of a Hot Wheels casting even if its packaging and overall execution suggests otherwise. The wheel design, paint finish and the simple but crisp body construction does scream Hot Wheels which is no doubt the intention of CR who like quite a lot of Chinese toy makers are more than happy to copy this World dominating formula! Bought directly from China back in January 2017. Mint and boxed.

A second example of the recent Candy series Matchbox 2002 Hummer H2 SUV Concept and one which shows its true cheapo colours when not given any Molotow detailing to its dull unpainted grey front and rear panels! Time to ditch this unpopular casting once and for all! Mint and boxed.

From now on, you'll expect more censored plates on this page. Anyway, today, I'm bringing something heavy from my trip to Brașov, which is the Hummer H2! It was the worst car ever created, among with the H3, but still I love that I have spotted this. The H2 has a 6.0L V8 engine, making 320 HP. The fuel efficiency of this tractor SUV is from 22L/100 km to 26L/100 km, according from car reviewers. This car comes from Aschaffenburg district, in the state of Bavaria.

Hummers brief foray into civilian aimed SUV's brought us some very big, very butch and very OTT vehicles which even made their way over to the UK. Matchbox were quick to model the "volume" selling H2 even before the real vehicle went on sale and even now their casting uses the "concept" tag. This is its new for 2018 recolour using a bright and well coordinated Beach Patrol livery which is just as well as the model itself is a touch chunky and clunky! Bought recently from ASDA. Mint and boxed.

Maybe one day the massive amount of Chinese toy makers which exist will concentrate on domestic vehicles but until then its the usual Western brands which continue to be modelled. Not surprisingly the macho looking products of Hummer feature in many toy makers line up and Y.T.G.F. are no exception. This is their Hummer H2 and although an unlicensed casting it barely disguises its origins apart from the necessary lack of badging. A nice weighty model with unexpected niceties at this level of the diecast market such as realistic alloy wheel effect wheels, separate tyres and opening doors. Part of a five vehicle set. Mint and boxed.

While things are just barely moving at Memorial and Beach Bypass, patrons of H2 Outdoors are already taking advantage of the first light special.

The Chinese toy company behind the LR brand are more known or maybe that should be notorious for producing some very cheeky Hot Wheels copies. A handful don't appear to be direct copies and from the quick look on Google i've just done I can't be sure this Hummer H2 is anything other than a CR original as it doesn't quite look the same as the HW equivalent. The Hummer brand does indeed feature on the packaging giving the impression this is a licensed casting but that is extremely dubious due to a complete lack of badging or identification on the baseplate, just blatant disregard for copyright and licensing laws which the Chinese toy industry is still notorious for! The model itself does have an air of Hot Wheels about it with similar styled wheels, casting style and detailing though thats definitely no bad thing here with its crisp clean boxy styling and robust construction. Part of their Speed & Furious series which indeed hilariously copies the original Fast & Furious typeface design. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.

First seen as a 2019 single and also in various multi-sets is this Matchbox Hummer H2 SUV Concept which in my eyes looks pretty much like the eventual production version. Its a decent enough casting I suppose with nice chunky styling and a believable looking livery though this was always one of the last castings to sell when it was available as a single at Tesco so perhaps isn't a particularly liked model. This came as part of one of the most recent nine vehicle sets. Mint and boxed.

Another guaranteed peg warmer just like many of its previous editions, nobody at Mattel obviously bothers checking which Matchbox and indeed Hot Wheels castings sell and which don't! The Matchbox Hummer H2 SUV Concept is no awful plastic bodied generic dud, its just that its always one of the last models to be sold in whatever case assortment its part of.

The casting I believe was delayed by a few years so when it appeared the real H2 had already gone from concept vehicle to production reality though to my eyes I can't tell the difference. No interior but a decent enough livery. Part of Case B tentatively appearing at Tesco. Mint and boxed.
