Friend bought a race-spec Hummer H2 with plans of selling it to make a profit. I did a photoshoot for him so he had photos for the advertisement. Looks mostly stock on the outside apart from a huge upgraded suspension, brush guard and lights, and skid plates on the bottom of the car. The interior is completely gutted out...we had to wear head-sets in order to communicate.

About as desirable as a HTI generic yet Matchbox insist on using this unloved peg warming casting in both single and multi-pack form! A bit of Molotow does its best to broaden its appeal but ill be honest and say im sick of seeing this Global Construct Tech's edition which has featured heavily in various nine vehicle sets. Mint and boxed.
Miniature 1/72 scale - Hummer H2
Hoy he comenzado una nueva serie. Tengo algunos coches de miniatura a escala 1/72, un tamaño no excede de 3 centímetros pero en cambio reproducen con bastante fidelidad a los modelos originales que representan.
Para hacer esta fotografía he utilizado un objetivo de focal fija 50mm que tenía arrinconado en el fondo de un armario (y no entiendo por qué). Ha sido divertido y aunque estar tirado en el suelo ha supuesto un buen dolor de cervicales y tener que echar toda la ropa a lavar, creo que ha valido la pena... :-)

Matchbox 2002 Hummer H2 SUV Concept, part of a nine vehicle set found recently in an E.Leclerc Jouet. Quite why Matchbox continue to release this historical peg warmer Ive no idea! Mint and boxed.
Once a rather respectable casting when it was first released its appearance has since been totally ruined by the adoption of horrendous looking bling wheels and lowered ride height. Part of a 20 vehicle set. Mint and boxed.
The licensed Matchbox casting seemingly most collectors ignore yet Mattel insist on using it at very regular intervals whether it be as a single or in multi sets. This one came in a recent nine vehicle set. Mint and boxed.
THE perennial pegwarmer regardless of which country it is sold yet Matchbox continue to offer their unpopular 2002 Hummer H2 SUV Concept in various multi sets and indeed as singles. Its not a particularly horrendous replica, just a bit dull and not very exciting or popular with most collectors or children. Time for Matchbox to retire this casting me thinks! Part of a nine vehicle set found recently at Tesco. Mint and boxed.
The July 24, 2016 Brighton cruise night, part of the Kiwanis Gazebo Concert series at the Millpond in downtown Brighton, Michigan. These concerts and cruise-ins take place every Sunday evening in July and August.
Lots of luxury for a utilitarian type of vehicle. Note the 8-ball on the steering wheel.

When is a Hummer H2 not a Hummer H2? When its a "HUNNER H6" of course ;-p
A typically hilarious way that many Chinese toy makers avoid paying license fees yet sail very close to the wind with how they describe their castings. Made by Meiba who are a new name for my collection, its a fairly clunky rendition of a now defunct but equally as clunky all American SUV. However, there are certainly no complaints at how it has been built ie. with lots of metal to the body, opening front doors and wheels which would put your average Matchbox and Hot Wheels to shame. Part of a four vehicle set sourced recently from China. Mint and boxed.
While the rest of the H2 Outdoors tour is headed off for a day of off-road adventure, one last minute cancellation is on it's way to Core B at MBTC.
It's not as bad as it could be, but let's just say the medics have seen a lot better EKG results, and they won't be making any stops along the way.

One of the more heavily villified vehicles to enter the market in recent times, the H2 met its end when GM discontinued the Hummer brand at the height of the recession. The rise of environmental concerns and fuel prices during that time went a long way toward killing the brand.
Port and waterway security, interdiction, aids to navigation, search and rescue, environmental protection, law enforcement?
Whatever these Coasties have in store for this small boat, it's up to the task.
The Long Blue Line has been at it for over 230 years.

Quite a blingtastic looking model of the Hummer H2 by Maisto. The casting is passable but man those wheels!!! Bought recently from my local Poundland who occaisonally sell a small selection of Maisto Fresh Metal models. Mint and boxed.
A concept vehicle which thankfully looked pretty much like the eventual real Hummer H2 but one which Matchbox might consider retiring! Considering its a licensed casting and considering we Brits are grateful for whatever Matchbox comes our way it invariably quickly becomes a shelf warmer even here. Its previous recolour did and I imagine this Case B edition will too if and when sizeable stocks of this batch actually appear at UK Tesco stores. Lacking an interior and being based on a now defunct manufacturer hardly help its cause. Mint and boxed.

Blingtastic Hummer H2 found recently in a 20 vehicle set at TK Maxx. The very first editions had an interior and proper wheels supporting a realistic ride height. Fast forward to 2018 and erm.......Mint and boxed.
