With his team facing the humiliation of a 210-run defeat, a Clifton batter leaves the field at The Heys after dismissal during a fourth-versus-first fixture at Greater Manchester League rivals Prestwich.
A bonus point victory enabled the home team to take over from Clifton at the top of the competition's Premier League.
Anything but an emphatic home win looked likely on a simply sweltering afternoon when Prestwich slipped to 133-5 after Haris Aziz (34) and Martin Walters (33) had figured in an opening stand worth 68. Sub pro Sachithra Serasinghe, a Sri Lankan, then hit 72 (off 66 balls) in adding 91 for the sixth wicket with Jack Doyle (56). Doyle and Tom Gibson (25 not out) put on 49 for the seventh wicket. Prestwich completed their 50 overs in scoring 278-7. Matt Wilkes took 4-73, Steven Cheetham 2-57.
Losing Adam Holt for a duck in the first over of the reply set the tone for Clifton's embarrassing innings. They were dismissed for just 68 in 24.4 overs. Only No 3 Gareth Cross (23) and No 7 Zachary Flaxman (19) managed double figures. Prestwich used spinners throughout. Nathan Bailey finished with 6-42 from 12 overs, Sachithra Serasinghe 3-8 from 6.4. Bailey was the game's MVP.

She’s been a major figure in contemporary art for over 25 years; he pioneered a radical new style known as Expressionism. In this landmark exhibition, Tracey Emin selects masterpieces by Edvard Munch to show alongside her most recent paintings.
Tracey Emin has long had a fascination with the Norwegian expressionist and painter of The Scream, Edvard Munch: in her words, “I’ve been in love with this man since I was eighteen”. In 1998 she even created a haunting video piece filmed at the same Oslo jetty that was the location of many of his well-known works. It is just one example of how, like Munch, she embraces even the most painful experiences to create art.
The exhibition features more than 25 of Emin’s works including paintings, some of which will be on display for the first time, as well neons and sculpture. These works, which explore the loneliness of the soul, have been chosen by Emin to sit alongside a carefully considered selection of 18 oils and watercolours drawn from MUNCH’s rich collection and archives in Oslo, Norway.
This is an opportunity to see Emin’s work in a highly personal show. The selection reveals not only how Munch has been a constant inspiration – particularly through his profound portrayals of women – but also showcases Emin’s wide-ranging skills as an artist, which often interweave painting, drawing and writing.
Seen together, the dark territories and raw emotions that both artists navigate will emerge as a moving exploration of grief, loss and longing.

The church of St. Anthony Abbot is a baroque religious building, with neo-Baroque inserts, located in Piazza Dante, at the center of Lugano.
The church was built in the thirteenth century as a convent of the Humiliated. After that, in 1571, Pius V had dissolved the order, the church was entrusted to the Clerks Regular of Somasca, who built a boarding school. Under their administration, from 1633 to 1651 it gave rise to the present church, built in place of the previous one and built between 1667 and 1676 by Pietro Ruspini. The church acquired its present appearance in the early eighteenth century. In 1852 the college was closed. The sacristy was demolished in 1908, it was rebuilt later. From 1914 to 1915, also, the building was added to the bell tower. The façade was built in neo-baroque style by Giuseppe Bordonzotti in 1918.

A church and monastery were founded here around 1350 by the Umiliati (Humiliated) order and initially dedicated to Saint Christopher, the patron saint of the gondoliers. Tiberio da Parma, the leader of the Order, and said to have been responsible for the original design of the church, is buried here. During the building of this church an unfinished statue of the Madonna, made by Giovanni de Santis (but also said to have fallen from heaven) and kept in an orchard (orto) nearby following its rejection by the Prior of Santa Maria Formosa, for which church it had been carved, started getting a reputation for glowing and working miracles. The church bought the statue, with the intention of thereby increasing offerings towards the cost of the building work, and on 18th June 1377 it was placed on the high altar. A series of shots dedicated to the Dannee and Sam\Sanguine first so called “Night to Remember” something that Dannee indeed always to remember the first and only evening when that mysterious Sam challenged her into contest and his brew her so drunk that her memory of whole night was like erased… until recently when with some unexpected “help” she remembered everything…
Everything about their romantic rendezvous was perfect - the jokes, their travel to misty Grove, where Dannee in attempt to refresh jumped into waterfall and how Sam carried her back, gave her a new dress, then the dancing and the romantic atmosphere, when it was just two of them, two people enjoying themselves, free from responsibilities, doubts and fears at least for a while.
However those joking words of Sam about Dannee losing her dress to an uneven battle with the dirt, that kind compliment about her looking like a golden dragoness in her new scaled dress turned darker as his sympathy and tenderness vanished to savage desire, those moments he never spoke with her about of finally revealed… As his darker lustful side emerged with her immense fear what it might lead too… Dannee managed to soothe his fierce desire in other way then being defiled but for her it has been humiliation, then came the fear and almost despair when she realized she wasn't in Skyrim, but in Oblivion, at the mercy of the Daedric Prince, realizing that she truly didn't know who that mysterious Sam was and trusted him so easily but before she could further torment herself he found her.
He didn’t know what to say, she looked so lost and sad, such a contrast to him. It has been so long he felt himself so happy… she gave him such intense satisfaction he didn’t feel for years, like tidal wave, drowning out anything else in the world. It felt so raw and intimate and personal, even more intimate than if he had taken her. He should have been touching her too, take her to his home, to his bed, he thought guiltily, he should be offering her pleasure in return and giving her the comfort and touch she so desperately needs. But he was drunk and everything was happening all at once, the sensations so overwhelming and new that they destroyed any possibility of coherent thought at that time… But it wasn’t only physical satisfaction, she made him happy even by her company. He felt something coiled lazily deep inside him, something that’s just waiting to be given a chance, and here he is, giving it a chance. He’s letting someone in. But apparently Dannee had different opinion… He tried to comfort her until he realized it would no good, he still could make it up for her, make her smile again, make her really happy but first thing was to erase this whole evening from her mind, because it seems no matter what he will say will help her now, nothing but something like spell, that would not be strong enough to erase her entire memory of the night, but it would suffice in blurring it enough to make her second guess its truth, perhaps labeling it as just another unbidden fantasy without anything that may hurt her feelings…
One magic trick and Dannee found that she was at some new magical looking place with her friend, Sam who looked at her with something like affection, like he craves so much more than her touch and company, like he craves her more than anything else in the entire world…
“Why do you look at me like this, Sam?” The last thing she remembered how he brought her here to breathe a fresh air…
“It is just… you made me so happy, and you are so beautiful, dearie, body and soul.”
I am quite sure that's what Shorty was wondering how I could be so cruel: subjecting him to a bath and then humiliating him by photographing him this way.
