They have only need no want. Our mothers and sisters deserve better. Don't they?

Castell Catalan groups performing their human towers in the Grand Place of Brussels

Some of you may have heard about the idea that Birds Aren't Real that was started as a joke but caught on with certain people because they literally believe every and all conspiracy theory.

Not as many people are aware of the birds that believe humans aren't real but I ran into some on Saturday in Chicago...

We are good at creation. We build upwards, strong and powerful structures to sustain our way of life. Not always pretty, not always cleanly but we build.

I note the obvious differences

In the human family.

Some of us are serious,

Some thrive on comedy.

Some declare their lives are lived

As true profundity,

And others claim they really live

The real reality.

The variety of our skin tones

Can confuse, bemuse, delight,

Brown and pink and beige and purple,

Tan and blue and white.

I've sailed upon the seven seas

And stopped in every land,

I've seen the wonders of the world

Not yet one common man.

I know ten thousand women

Called Jane and Mary Jane,

But I've not seen any two

Who really were the same.

Mirror twins are different

Although their features jibe,

And lovers think quite different thoughts

While lying side by side.

We love and lose in China,

We weep on England's moors,

And laugh and moan in Guinea,

And thrive on Spanish shores.

We seek success in Finland,

Are born and die in Maine.

In minor ways we differ,

In major we're the same.

I note the obvious differences

Between each sort and type,

But we are more alike, my friends,

Than we are unalike.

human - machine - environment - carbon footprint - future?

Maybe I'm foolish, maybe I'm blind

Thinking I can see through this and see what's behind

Got no way to prove it so maybe I'm blind

But I'm only human after all, I'm only human after all

Don't put your blame on me

Take a look in the mirror and what do you see

Do you see it clearer or are you deceived in what you believe

Cause I'm only human after all, you're only human after all

Don't put the blame on me

Don't put your blame on me

After a long (9 months!) hiatus from customizing dolls, I am happy to finally be back in action :)

This girl is a human haired orphan who was named Ava, for it means "bird" in Latin :)

I hope you love her!

You don't want to miss your bus!

Went out with the family today to the Everglades National Park. We had a great time and I shot some crocodiles, alligators, birds, etc.. The usual stuff.

I also like to capture the other wildlife as well. So here they are.

This guy was traveling with a girl and had a sign explaining they were traveling musicians. She held the sign and he played.

Humans From Earth - T- Bone Burnett

www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC1rCrB8pq0

We come from a blue planet

light-years away.

Where everything multiplies

at an amazing rate.

We're out here in the universe

buying real estate

Hope we haven't gotten here too late

We're humans from earth

We're humans from earth

You have nothing at all to fear

I think we're gonna like it here

We're looking for a planet

with atmosphere.

Where the air is fresh

and the water clear.

With lots of sun

like you have here.

Three or four hundred days a year

Bought Manhattan

for a string of beads.

Brought along some gadgets

for you to see.

Here's a crazy little thing

we call TV.

Do you have electricity?

We're humans from earth

We're humans from earth

You have nothing at all to fear

I think we're gonna like it here

I know we may seem

pretty strange to you.

But we got know-how

and a golden rule.

We're here to see

manifest destiny through.

Ain't nothing we can't get used to

We're humans from earth.

I love the #urbanjungle. But sometimes I am overwhelmed by the majesty and beauty of #nature. I don't think nature wants to threaten or exploit us. Nature wants to protect us #humans
