INOCULATION ETERNITY is a story about a place called Eternity. It is my imagination about what life might have been like before humankind ever existed. We all have this hope that when we die we go to a perfect place called Heaven. In this book I paint a picture of a similar place where there is no time, sickness or war. Its essence beholds perfection and pure happiness. The entire story evolves around the life of Archangel Lucifer, who is the Master of Ceremony for the Gathering.
The Gathering could be likened to a church service, but far greater. Its purpose is to recharge everyone's spirit in what I reference in the book as life's resurgence. Everything was perfect until something happens at the latest Gathering service. This something has to do with Lucifer. It begins a wind of change that rocks the core of Eternity and everyone's existence. You will witness how Lucifer's unleashed emotions assimilate negative potential. As the story progresses, readers will witness how many of Eternity's inhabitants who are witnessing the changes, become determined to understand what is happening. Amongst them evolves a certain sect of creatures who begin to enjoy their newfound knowledge. Different sensations are experienced as new emotions surface, which were hidden from them since the beginning of their existence.
Gabriel, who is another principal character is one determined to understand what is happening. Prior to these dysphonic eruptions everything was all good. Now another realm appears on the horizon. His concern for Lucifer and scientific interests beckon him to go in search of a remedy.
Ancient of Days' is my version of God. He is the center of all moral consciousness and the animator for life. He doesn't even attempt to explain what is happening or what has caused the eruption in the first place. Some begin to wonder why. His expression of love for His creation is to stand back and allow them the freedom to choose their own destiny. It is His desire that they trust Him. He encourages them to govern themselves. He lends them support and intervenes only when it is absolutely necessary. With an infinite space ahead of them, He is in no hurry to stop what appears to be a disaster.

Here's a way you can celebrate Earth Day, and help one of your best friends.
One of the most important, and yet less appreciated, dangers facing humankind right now is our food supply. As our population grows, it is already hard pressed to meet our needs, as evidenced many places in the world by famine and poverty. One of THE vital links in that chain is pollination, without it the entire system breaks down. In North America, most pollination is done by our native wild bees, and they are facing many challenges from habitat degradation to attacks by mites imported with foreign domestic bees. They are also an easy thing to help.
This is from my post last year, with an update at the bottom.
Wild bees, like this Orchard Mason Bee, are hole nesters, laying their eggs in holes in posts and trees. While they are solitary nesters, they like to be near others of their kind. If you are looking for a simple project to connect your kids or grandkids with nature, and to plant the seed of understanding of the earth's connectivity to all its parts, then build a bee house. It is a very simple task, consisting of a chunk of 4"x4" lumber with 5/16" holes drilled as deep as possible on 3/4" centers. The female bees pack pollen into the holes, and lay eggs in them. They lay three or four eggs per hole, then seal it with mud. It's from the use of mud that they get the name Mason bees. It's a fascinating process to watch, and the house can be any size from two holes to two hundred. Mine began as a block with 100 holes, and part of yesterday was taken up making an annex with another 80 holes. That one will be put in the shed when the nesting is over, and given to my brother in the spring to help with his new fruit trees. There's an article here with a picture of a bee house.
These bees can sting, but I've never heard of it. I have fished them out of my shirt pocket when they're exploring for new holes, and they didn't sting. If you put your finger over the hole they want, they simply land and wait. They are not aggressive, do not defend their nest, and do not swarm or mob together. You may have them now, they look very much like a Blue-Bottle fly. If you seem to have flies checking nail shadows and dimples in wood for holes, they're probably these bees. While a honey-bee, on average, pollinates 20 blossoms a day, each of these little ladies does upwards of 200. The decline in bees is a concern in agriculture, if pollination fails, the entire system collapses. This is a great way to do your small piece, and renew your connection with your world.
This is from the beginning of the hatch yesterday. A male, identifiable by the gray moustache, pushes out the mud plug and enters the world. Behind him in the same hole, will be three or four females who will emerge shortly and, for the next three weeks, work nonstop to support the next generation, and, in the process, our larder.
EDIT These are no relation to Carpenter Bees, and are only a highly effecient pollinator. While they like having their house, they have no interest in yours.

Muslims love and respect Jesus. They consider him one of the greatest of God's prophets and messengers to humankind. A Muslim never refers to him simply as "Jesus," but always adds the phrase "may the peace and blessing of God be upon him." The Qur'an confirms his virgin birth, and a special chapter of the Qur'an is entitled "Mary." The Qur'an describes the Annunciation as follows:
"The Angels said, 'O Mary! God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above all the women of all nations…'
'O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and in the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God. He shall speak to the people in infancy and in old age, and shall be of the righteous.'
She said: ' O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: 'Even so; God creates what he wills. When He decrees a thing, he says to it, "Be!" and it is."' (Qur'an 3:42, 45-7)
Just as God created Adam without a mother or a father, He caused Jesus to be conceived without a father:
"Truly the example of Jesus in relation to God is as the example of Adam. He created him from dust and then said to him, "Be!" and he was." (Qur'an 3:59)
During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. The Qur'an tells us that he said: "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of clay, as it were, a figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by God's leave. And I heal the blind, and the lepers, and I raise the dead by God's leave." (Qur'an 3:49)
Jesus, like Muhammad, came to confirm and renew the basic doctrine of the belief in One God brought by earlier prophets. In the Qur'an, Jesus is reported as saying that he came: "To attest the Torah that was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you; I have come to you with a sign from your Lord; so be conscious of God and obey me." (Qur'an 3:50)
The Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes that there is no deity except God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is his messenger, that Jesus is the servant and messenger of God; His word which he bestowed on Mary and a spirit proceeding from Him, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

Here, Homer studied details he would include in The Gulf Stream. By placing brightly coloured stalks of sugarcane at the centre of his composition and writing that 'the subject of this picture is comprised in its title', Homer may be referring obliquely to the institution of slavery. Sugar was a central commodity in the triangular trade between Europe, Africa and the Americas. The Gulf Stream current played an essential role in both transporting it and in the trafficking of enslaved people.

Winslow Homer: Force of Nature
(September 2022 – January 2023)
[A]n overview of Winslow Homer (1836–1910), the great American Realist painter who confronted the leading issues facing the United States, and its relationship with both Europe and the Caribbean world, in the final decades of the 19th century.
Homer’s career spanned a turning point in North American history. He lived through the American Civil War and the abolition of slavery, so-called Reconstruction, and war with the last colonial European power in the Americas, Spain.
From his sketches of battle and camp life, to dazzling tropical views and darker restless seascapes, the works reflect Homer’s interest in the pressing issues of his time; conflict, race, and the relationship between humankind and the environment – issues still relevant for us today.
After the war, Homer’s subject became the lives of Americans in the wake of the war and abolition with a focus on the lives of formerly enslaved African Americans.
Homer travelled to France, England, the Bahamas, Cuba and Bermuda. In England, he painted scenes of heroism and resilience that he saw while staying in Cullercoats, a town on the North East coast. In the Caribbean, his paintings became more vivid as he painted the transparent turquoise waters and lush vegetation. His interest in conflict remained constant and he often explored the issue through painting the life and struggles of Black people.
With more than fifty paintings, covering over forty years of Homer’s career, 'Winslow Homer: Force of Nature' is part of a programme of exhibitions that introduce major American artists to a UK and European audience and follows on from our exhibitions about George Bellows and the Ashcan painters, Frederic Church and Thomas Cole.
