York Minster is England's largest medieval cathedral and almost impossible to do justice to. It has an awesome presence that cannot fail to impress.
Uniquely the cathedral was spared the ravages of the Civil War that decimated the medieval art of most English cathedrals and churches, and it thus possesses the largest collection of medieval glass in Britain throughout most of it's vast windows.

As I went for a walk in the woods today, I started to notice the traces we humans leave behind in nature. Combined this is a little documentation of the traces I found.

The withdrawal came on the heels of an earlier withdrawal last month by the original 21-member advocates' team that had volunteered to represent the 25 detainees - all of whom are out spoken critics of the government. I wasn't able to find a whole lot of information about these, but I believe that they're blast walls of some sort. They are all over the place, and they are huge! The lowest wall part that juts out from the base actually stands about three feet high, so yeah, they're big.
My first project and interpretation of the theme "Human Impact on Nature". Would love feedback (positive or negative) on any and all of my photo's.
