BAHRAIN TERRORISM TRIAL

epa02517872 Opposition Members of Parliament Abdullah al-Aaali (CL) and Seyyed Hadi al-Mousawi (CR) wait outside the courthouse in Manama, Bahrain on 6 January 2011 to gain access. The court case by the Bahraini government against alleged ring-leaders of an all Shiite terror network, suffered a major set-back on 6 January 2011 after 19 out of 23 court-appointed lawyers withdrew from the case. The withdrawal came on the heels of an earlier withdrawal last month by the original 21-member advocates' team that had volunteered to represent the 25 detainees - all of whom are out spoken critics of the government.
