Shiba Inu Hawaii's 1st Anniversary. Two shibas guard the gates from those pesky humans. Or maybe they are just posing while I sit behind another cute black shiba. Thats his ear on the left. I was pretty far from them since I was using my Canon 70-200mm lens. But some how they knew I was photographing them and smiled for the camera. For more information on Shiba Inus or if you have a Shiba Inu and want to hang out with other Shiba Inu owners on Oahu, Hawaii visit: www.shibainuhawaii.com They have Shiba Inu meetups every other Sunday at a different location so you have to check the website for more info. www.paragon-photography.com

As I was walking past Victoria Square today, I saw a man feeding bits of bread to pigeons, and he had them eating out of his hands. His wife was taking photos, and I stopped to have a look through my camera. Suddenly all the pigeons flew away! They were crowded around an older man who was scattering sunflower seeds to them. I went up to him and he let me have some seeds, and this photo shows the pigeons getting really friendly with me!

Close up view of the so called human ovens
The room where 4 crematorium or so called man-oven were placed. With coal often in short supply and number of corpses raises every day, corpses are creamated in a continuous manner and simply fed into the ovens as the old ones are consumed.
My series of Dachau Concentration Camp taken months back when i was doing my practicals in MĂĽnchen
For those who havent seen my previous Dachau posts, Dachau was Germany's first concentration camp where the Nazis, once upon a time, kept their prisoners of war here and tortured them. Prisoners were enslaved and forced to work and many died of disease, malnutrition and suicide. Bodies were then burned in a crematorium and some of them were burried in mass graves. Like the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, this camp too, has a gas chamber disguised as a showering room for disinfection. But however according to records, it has never been used

My first entry into the "What were you thinking"? archives.
I guess the guy just wanted a better vantage point! Maybe it's just me, but I think I can come up with a few better places to achieve it than to stand on the precipice of Glacier Point overlook!
While shooting in the Ahwahnee Meadow last week I decided to put on my Sigma zoom (yeah that one) with my recently acquired 1.4x tele-converter to see what I could see. After shooting some of the features on Half Dome I pointed it at Glacier Point and much to my surprise there was Mensa's newest prospective member, standing on the edge taking pictures and as can be seen in the 400% crop below, he was clearly standing on the OUTSIDE of the rail.
Now I'm not one to knock the idea of getting a unique perspective, and I've only been to Glacier Point a couple of times, but I never entertained the thought of doing that.
