The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge (Permatang Kuarza Klang Gates) is a quartz dyke that runs through northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within Bukit Lagong-Kanching-Klang Gates region. With the dimension of more than 16 km long and 200m wide, it is longest of its kind in the world.

Sugar Calabash, or bingtang hulu, was a traditional snack made of rock-sugar-covered fruits. I always loved its brightly appealing colors, even though the tastes were not outstanding. In the old days when food was more of a necessity than an enjoyment, this was probably one of the very few food items that could bring the water much more joy than filling the tummy.

The 葫蘆 ( pinyin: húlu) is believed to absorb negative earth-based qi (energy) that would otherwise affect health and is a traditional Chinese medicine cure. Dried calabash is also used as containers of liquids, often liquors or medicine. Calabash were also grown in earthen molds to form different shapes and dried to house pet crickets, which were kept for their song and fighting abilities. The texture of the gourd lends itself nicely to the sound of the animal, much like a musical instrument. It is a symbol of the Xian immortals.hulu is an ancient remedy for health. The narrow trail along the spine of the ridge. Despite several people being lost or seriously injured, Bukit Tabur in Taman Melawati, Gombak continues to attract avid hikers as well as thrill seekers. But, experts have advised caution when attempting to tackle the challenging hill.
