Hulu Langat, 25/03/2012 - Saya menyampaikan bantuan kepada kira-kira 4,000 mangsa banjir dari kawasan Hulu Langat dan Ampang, hari ini.
Penyampaian bantuan itu bermula jam 11 pagi di Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara (IKBN) Dusun Tua di Hulu Langat.
Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN), Yayasan 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) serta Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integriti Nasional (JPNIN) turut memberi sumbangan kepada mangsa banjir.
Selain wang tunai, mangsa banjir akan juga diberi peralatan dapur, pakaian sekolah, tilam, barangan makanan dan sebagainya.
Bantuan itu juga mendapat sokongan badan bukan kerajaan dan syarikat korporat termasuk Kelab Putra 1Malaysia, Yayasan Kelana Ehsan, Pasaraya Tesco dan Mydin.

The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge (Permatang Kuarza Klang Gates) is a quartz dyke that runs through northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within Bukit Lagong-Kanching-Klang Gates region. With the dimension of more than 16 km long and 200m wide, it is longest of its kind in the world.

The fascinating rock art site of Tchitundu-Hulu Mulume, the largest of the four Tchitundu-Hulu sites, contains both paintings and engravings. The site is on an inselberg, with art displayed on the mountain's flank (a lot of mysterious geometric figures) and further art (including paintings) in a rock shelter. The site was first documented in 1953. Tchitundu-Hulu is in southwest Angola, near the Namib Desert. It is more than 100km from the ocean. Seasonal rivers nearby might explain what lead to the usage of this site but I have no information on what the conditions were when the rock art was made - experts are not yet sure all four sites were contemporaneous - AT Tchitundu-Hulu Mucai one painting made me think of a turtle or tortoise.
