Brief report in the Sydney Morning Herald about the planned Kennedy Miller miniseries Mango River (aka The Bali Project) which eventually cast Hugo Weaving and Richard Roxburgh as Australian investigators tracking down the perpetrators of the 2002 Bali bombings. Unfortunately, the miniseries was quashed after a few days' filming when Indonesian authorities revoked bthe filmmakers' permits. I was able to meet Tomity for the first time at last.

"Hugo is a female grizzly from Hugo Mountain near Kotzebue, AK. Two men riding snow machines found her in November 2000 with hundreds of porcupine quills imbedded in her paws. She was severely dehydrated and malnourished and was unable to walk or eat when brought to AWCC. Although she has made a good recovery, she cannot be released into the wild because she does not have the needed skills to survive on her own. Hugo was the first bear to be given a permanent home at AWCC." This info was copied from there web site
Hugo is from Kingsville. In the summer he is a fishing guide. In the winter he’s a quail guide and he trains and runs large numbers of pointers and retrievers. He is a great guy and has the best guide-BS in Texas. Here we’re taking a break mid-day and he’s leaning up against Escondido Tank.
This was at a show Data Select Party were booked to play at a private school called Sherbourne School in the middle of nowhere.
After the guys left in the van I set off on my way home and whilst trying to find a Petrol Station, I completely ran out of petrol.
It was a very long, very dark and very lonely night. Until a very nice man with some petrol came to help me.

Hugo is a 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer. The love of my life. It is virtually impossible to get a photograph of him in focus due to his lively disposition!

Metairie Cemetery in the New Orleans area (it's about a minute off I-10 and about ten minutes from downtown) is a large cemetery where many notable folks are buried.
Among the people who chose this cemetery to be their final resting place are jazz musician Louis Prima, Civil War generals P.G.T. Beauregard (and his daughter) and John Bell Hood, Jim Garrison (the only lawyer to bring a case to trial in the assassination of President Kennedy; Kevin Costner played him in the movie JFK), Hall of Fame baseball player Mel Ott, local politician deLesseps (Chep) Morrison, and others.
Jefferson Davis was also originally interred here (where the Louisiana soldier monument now stands), though he was later moved to Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
