Hiking around one of the points at Hug Point - and this is best done at low tide (we'll remember that next time) - brings you this lovely view to the north.
As I walked around the tree for a different angle, I noticed that there was a very large hole in it. This way the tree can hug you Katety........

This young Chimpanzee was running around playing when suddenly he stopped and ran over to an elder and began to hug him, he appeared very sad as he sat there and then just ran off again to play as though the hug cured it all.
Taken handheld with a Canon 50d and Canon 55-250mm lens.
