The second house we looked at. Nice, but on a hill and not enough balnconey space/balconey building potential.

2nd bedroom. Smallest of all.

Second bathroom. It has a tub/shower with a separate shower stall in the other wall.

House-hunting

This house was nice, but the price was too high for its size. Also, it was one of only a few single-story, single-car garage houses in a very large neighborhood of two-story, two-car garage homes.

Closet has a connecting door that leads into the guest room's closet. Husband wants to connect/expand/do something creative with this.

There's a dirt road the runs along the back of the property. This is looking west along that road.

Remington House Hearth, door to basement

Looked at a couple of houses today -- this really shows off the highs and lows of what is available in our price range (under $500K) in Greater Victoria. See if you can guess which house I would prefer.

BTW, there was only a $16K spread between these two listings, but one was in Oak Bay -- and it wasn't the pretty one!
