Looked at a couple of houses today -- this really shows off the highs and lows of what is available in our price range (under $500K) in Greater Victoria. See if you can guess which house I would prefer.

BTW, there was only a $16K spread between these two listings, but one was in Oak Bay -- and it wasn't the pretty one!

The first house we looked at. Nice balconey, nice location and didn't look like every other house in Japan being built now. I liked it pretty well

The roof of this part is new-ish, with a slight pitch for gutter drainage.

We like this duplex. Both sides are for sale. It's in a good location, and the price is good, but the owner is still doing some work on it.
