House-hunting

 

This one was ruled out as soon as we stepped inside. It was a mess, and in need of very serious work.

Crawl space left by expansion of other half of attic.

The house's front faces Bridge Street, AKA Route 9. You can see the overpass from the sidewalk. Here is the contact information for the real estate agency brokering this home.

The porch wraps around, and does not go all the way to the ground.

Really love how peaceful this is.

This is the garden at number seven - a real estate listing shot. My garden is not as big, but the patio and back of the house is the same.

No storage here, but at least it's the second bathroom -- with a shower! Kyle's sleeve is an attractive addition.

Used to be a garage, could possibly be one again if necessary.

Don't even look at the toilet water.

Good deck and nice view. This reminds of Champaign, so I was very happy.

More parking could be eked out of this area, but two spots exist as it stands. More parking should be helpful in a three-unit apartment.

view of the breakfast nook and washer/dryer hookup in the kitchen. the actual washer/dryer will be moved to the basement. the carpet is going to be pulled up and the floor will be tiled.

Current closets are tiny... all of them are about this size. Would eventually want to move the wall back and make it much bigger.
