There were only a few customized hot rods in the Paddock Parking Area , where we were waiting for Jake's signal to follow him for the Lotus parade lap, but one nearby caught my eye. Jake noticed and joked,"Sure hope you got a filter on that camera or that paint job will blind you. Planning to do the same on this Elan, just to upset the Lotus Purists, if you catch my drift. Not permanent though....just peel off." We laughed and i responded, "i;m shooting black and white, so no blindness danger." "Too bad, man. It won't do justice, " he shook his head. "I don't know why he has that thing about black and white," Ash chimed in, adding, "It must be some sort of suffering-artist-wanna-be complex, don't you think?"
