Laura's awesome friends also brought machinery to make hot chocolate. We stopped on a second ledge to enjoy some warm drink and another beautiful view for awhile.

Just a week and a half into this project, I'm realizing that there will be some days when I have the time and energy to take a photo that I can be proud of, and some days that I just take one shot so that I don't break this resolution. There's about 100 ways I could improve this shot, but the drink itself was perfection. :)

These are some hot chocolate with marshmallow earrings I made.

They were fun to make and will try to make more in different colors.

This is extremely artistic. It is a penetrating statement on the banal.

Oh sorry, I mistyped that. That should just say: This is extremely banal. Is the word "extremely" redundant in that sentence?

I had a cccold, wet trip into work and really needed that hot chocolate (and the coffee -- I doubled up since I didn't have correct change for the machine anyway). And I also needed something to try out manual focus on. The toddler moves too fast; I can't ever tell if it was my focus that was bad or if she just moved.
