We keep the homework desk in the dining room. I just cleaned it off yesterday - and feel really good about it today!

It's a place for the kids to stash their take-home folder (containing homework) and a quiet place to work. it opens up and contains supplies too.

Leo prefers to work at the dining room table, but thinks the homework desk is a nice spot anyway.

Here is my beautiful girl writing a story for her literacy homework. She was given three certain things to include in her story, a boy named Jack who was the richest boy in town, a public park and a small candle.

She decided to write a story about Jack having a birthday party which was actually a circus in the park. I love childrens imagination, she added some interesting things into her story, eg. candy floss tress, giant wonka bar, pick a mix path, and my favourite....a massive fish tank with dolphins and turtles.

She wrote a great story and seemed to really enjoy it.
