Believe is or not but this is often what homework looks like for us.
This is from a group photo project. All of us were pretty glad to be done with it and move on to our own work. We goofed around a lot.
homework for lesson1 - yikes, this was still drippy when I put it in the scanner! That was a mess! :)
I was like, you've got to be kidding me, he's not even two and a half!! This was our first homework assignment ever. It's been a moderately tough week.
Part of Hayley's homework that day was to color in a picture of this snowman scene (she insisted on blue for the snow because "you can't see the white on white paper and I want my teacher to know I colored it!") and then write a short story about it. Her hand writing is getting much better.
The Snowman
The snowman is in the snow. The snowman has a hat and a scarf. The kids made the snowman. It is fun to make a snowman. I will make a snowman when it snows again.
The first time that I tell a new class of Bling Bling students that they'll be getting homework that day, the notion is met with groans and complaints. Once the students realize that Bling Bling homework is awesome, however, they get excited when I announce that they'll have take home kits that day. Today's Art Journal kit included: a permanent marker, a pen, an acid-free glue stick, some masking tape, and some pretty scrapbook paper. Plus every kid who wanted to was able to take home a magazine. Less for me to carry... sweet!

Assignment: Romancing the Lines of the Automobile
The way I view myself could be as a student or an athlete. My desires include achieving good grades in school and completing the homework that I do have. But more than all of that I could easily say that it is something that I have, it is just a matter of fact that I do obtain homework and that I reeled need to do it. Sometimes the things I have aren't going to be fabulous but overall when I look at them and I know that they are going to make me better or they already to make me a better person. I think if one looks at things from a different perspective or from a more positive one, one is able to view things maybe as something they have or can have rather than something negative
