I especially like its subtle sweet and pleasant taste, Japanese pumpkin is also my mealtime favourite when it is in season. Just like steamed sweet potatoes, steamed pumpkin with its skin on makes a healthy delicious finger food too. After steaming, the pumpkin skin just melted in the mouth, yummy!
This time managed to remove the cake nicely from the baking tin :) And it is one of the best chiffon cakes baked without cracking on the surface :)
Storing cake in air-tight container will prevent it from drying out. We will leave it at room temperature if we could finish it in 2-3 days.
This cake was baked the day before we travelled to KL. Between, ER "ta bao" pieces of this cake for us to take along and we ate them after lunch which was prepared by Rika.
@1913 PM, Punggol 21: Bright and beautiful orange light shone through the window @1906 PM caught my attention just as I was about to warm up food for dinner…hence I got this series of photos, not stunning though. Tonight the view of the moon is just as beautiful, but sadly, our digital camera could not capture a proper image of it although I tried, caused by my poor skill perhaps. We met my Mother-in-Law's for a late lunch Sunday afternoon at Austin's Steak & Homestyle Buffet We got extremely lucky and didn't have to wait to be seated, Wanted to try a wide range of food, which I did! We were completely stuffed when we left and throughout the evening!

Just before we left, we stood in the open space although it had started drizzling. We took this busy night scene at a seafood eatery along Changi Road, where we had our dinner on Christmas day.

Craving Wendy's for dinner! I got the Homestyle S'Awesome Bacon Chicken Sandwich. It's a sandwich with a juicy, lightly breaded chicken breast, 3 strips of Applewood smoked bacon, muenster cheese, lettuce, tomato, and with Wendy's signature sweet & tangy Sid of S'Awesome sauce. For my side, I got the large chili. Yup, I was a hungry boy lol.
This was at the Wendy's on the intersection of Aborn and Capitol here in San Jose, CA. I was hanging out with my cousin at the time. Once again, we were doing another one of our random hangout sessions lol. Anyways, let's enjoy!
