Homemade graham crackers. This batch was a little thicker than it should have been, but they still tasted great.
But it's actually more of a sauce. Jam is one of those things that's on my invisible list of "things that make me a good mother".
Why jam? I have no idea. But it is. Unfortunately it didn't turn out so jammy, more thick saucy, which is fine, but disappointing.
I may attempt to re-jam some of it. Some of it is destined for my father to put on top of some delicacy that my sister will either create or recommend, I hope.
If not, I'll explore what can be done with strawberry sauce!
Joshua says it's a bit too sweet. I'm going to have to play with my proportions and see if I can master jam or what.

I made this Persian lute using a locally grown gourd. It is fretless with nylon strings and the nut and bridge were carved from bone purchased at the local pet store. I used a wood burning pen to burn the decorative vines on the top. The pegs are wooden dowels sanded down to fit the peg holes.
Oliver and I made yummy personal pizzas and mashed sweet potatoes for dinner. Oliver wanted to take pictures of them (future foodie?). This is the action shot.
So I decided to try the popular Oreo cupcakes. However, due to the lack of proper ingredients... They turned out hard and dry. :L Another fail. But I won't give up! {This batch are frosted.}
