If you move the camera during pixel shift, you can get some weird 'funhouse mirror' distortion

I thought it would be fun to do a group shot for this challenge of some girls who weren't here last Christmas, but call this place home now. It's been a crazy few months for dolly opportunities!

December 9, 2021 - Our Decorated Noble Fir Christmas Tree 2021 at our Home in Long Beach, CA. Thanking God we can be Home for Christmas!

I love the preparation(s) for this event. I love the transformation of our homes into the Holiday theme. I love Christmas.

So called because of the coyote that ran out from underneath it when I was about six feet from the door and trying to figure out how to boost myself up into the doorway. Luckily I didn't have to fight it.

December 31, 2022 - Our New Year's Eve Dinner at our Home with Cousin Joy and her Son Joseph. Thanking God for our awesome celebration together as a Family!

Installing the trailcam he got for Christmas. Now he can see all the critters that visit our yard at night. :)

in his home studio in Atlanta, TX

It's coming on Christmas

They're cutting down trees

They're putting up reindeer

And singing songs of joy and peace

Oh I wish I had a river

I could skate away on

But it don't snow here

It stays pretty green

I'm going to make a lot of money

Then I'm going to quit this crazy scene

I wish I had a river

I could skate away on

I wish I had a river so long

I would teach my feet to fly

Oh I wish I had a river

I could skate away on

I made my baby cry...

Class With Daves: The Audit Group ~ Assignment CWD441 "O Tannenbaum"

Group: Macro Mondays

Theme: Meaningful Holiday Ornaments

These ornaments were not obtained for their beauty, obviously. But they, to this date, represent the two homes I’ve purchased to date. Both homes were not purchased for the aesthetic beauty or curb appeal, but rather for their unseen potential.

Both my first home and current home were the most tattered, left-to-ruin homes in their respective blocks. But, at the time, both were all I could afford. So after two years of endless work, sacrificed weekends, sleepless nights, dust-filled environments and an insurmountable amount of sweat, creativity, paint and money, of course, they each came to regain their intended beauty.

So, here’s to home, and to sacrifice and promise.

(I will catch up with everyone this evening)
