Your eyes do not deceive you, that is in fact a rotating Christmas Tree. A novelty that I am not sure ever really caught on, as I've never seen or heard of anyone else having one. My parents do though. I can remember when they brought it home when I was a kid, my mom proclaiming that 'we can now enjoy all the Christmas ornaments!'. That's right no more hiding the ugly ones in the back of the tree for this family! Sure its was a bit weird at first having a rotating tree, but its really grown on me over the years.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. Wherever you are I hope your spending time with family and friends. You can rest assured I'll be doing the same. This of course will include a game or two of Scrabble, a family tradition.
If you move the camera during pixel shift, you can get a 'funhouse mirror' effect. Might try this next time I see a band play. :)
