This kitty is always hugely popular with my customers. I decided to sit him on top of the Halloween Moon for the 2010 version.
He has black polka dots made of glitter on his collar but it is really hard to see....I stink at photography.
This guy looks a little sinister.

For my close flickr friends, you all know my LOVE of all things "Santa".
I have been busy finishing up some new sculptures and ornaments for Christmas to celebrate Christmas in July on my Etsy site and have already been crazing the smell of evergreen! LOL
This little guy may have been the beginning of my Santa obsession.
I made him (along with 7 others) back when I was 8 years old out of styrofoam balls, felt, and glitter glue. It is tough to see in the picture, but there is a drapery hook in the hat that my mother used to hook them on the top of each corner of the curtains. She has done this every year since I made them....and that was a long time ago (I am 48 now - so 40 years make him my own antique). My mom irons the beard every year and puts them safely away for each new holiday year. My mom was nice enough to let me take one home....I plan on making the same one's with my daughter this year....and they will be on my curtains for many years to come as well.

I have been working on Halloween (oh yes, I have) but this guy was completed over the weekend and I wanted to post a sneak peek for now.
