Theme: Candle Holder.

I have switched over to scented candle in glass containers - don't need to worry or watch them as much but this is still my favorite. It gives beautiful shadow play. HLCoF to All.

i bought this toothbrush holder that was pretty gross...and after cleaning it up and polishing it, i had to question how anyone could use it. stainless steel would show every drop of water and other stuff (ick) every time it was used unless the toothbrush was thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and dried! conclusion: poor design and a way to make an ocd person positively bonkers. solution: stick a marble in it.

Happy Monday & HMM!

Thanks for your visit, most appreciated.

今日は月曜日、Macro Mondaysの今日のお題は"flexible"(曲げても、元通りになる)ということで親友からもらったマスクホルダーをマスクの上で撮ってみました。

My best friend gave me a flexible mask holder the other day to put on the mask and it is exquisitely convenient when we drink/eat. I gave her a hand gel in this sensitive time. Taken on the mask.

Gasholder Park, St Pancras & King's Cross, London. Three of the four gas holders have been converted to luxury apartments. The other is now a public park with art features. They have been here since the 1850's but were decommissioned at the turn of the 21st century when the whole area was redeveloped.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and we have another awesome theme at Looking close on Friday : tea light holder. I must admit, at first I panicked. I was sure I had no tea light holders in my house. So I was desperately searching for a DIY project for a tea light holder. But then I remembered my white cage tea light holder ! And after finding this one, I suddenly found at least 4 other tea light holders ! They are all different and since I rarely use them (since I’m not a tea lights or candles person… yes, I know I’m not romantic at all but I have others qualities … or so I like to think), I will use those in my pictures for sure !

Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !

Many years ago (1992, I think) I took the Transsiberian Railway from Moscow to Vladivostok. Each waggon has an attendant who serves tea and uses this metal glass holder to serve it. At the end of the line he was kind enough to sell the holders to interested tourists. I never found a glass that fit perfectly in the holder, though!

Dave's Dad made this years ago when they wintered in Arizona. Coyote toothpick holder.

This was originally bought as a waste paper basket many years ago but is now being reused as a pot plant holder !! A pretty design, well crafted especially with the veins of red that run through !!!

A massive, swirling supercell storm cloud looms over a flat rural landscape, casting dramatic shadows and creating a vivid contrast against the fields below. The sky is a mix of dark gray and lighter hues near the horizon, possibly indicating an approaching storm.
