New to Western National
What happened to HOD 55 is very sad. It was purchased by Cedar Coaches in 1985, fully restored in their livery and licensed as a PSV for special tour duties, but soon fell out of use and spent over 20 years deteriorating in the yard. Fortunately it has recently been reported as finding a new home with OB enthusiast Tim Wootton, so will hopefully be restored to its former glory. Entombed behind and impossible to photograph was an even rarer vehicle in a similar condition, a Yeates-bodied Dennis Lancet.
The River Hodder at Whitewell up in the Trough of Bowland. My first image from my first exploratory trip.
I took this photo and passed it on to Mijn who did the photoshop work. It is of Riot Hax Legion Devil with his little Imps, Mijn Hax(Feline Dagger) on his shoulder, and myself sitting in his arms.

HOD 66 2015. One of 20 lightweight Western National single decks built by Beadle, Dartford, most using Bedford O type running units and semi-integral aluminium construction and paneling. Served in South Devon for 9 years, then passing to Millbrook Steamboat & Trading Co. for services on Rame Peninsula. Then schools work for Willis of Bodmin. I last saw at Plymouth running day 20 years ago. Ron Greet sold this bus to Colin Billington 2018. 2019 Kingsbridge running day.
