The golden light of early evening floods the city, from the sunlit rooftops to the shadowed streets below. The twin domes of the Frauenkirche rise in quiet grandeur, while the Neues Rathaus anchors the scene with its towering Gothic spires. This view encapsulates the harmonious blend of old-world charm and modernity, with cranes on the horizon hinting at the city’s ever-evolving landscape. The image itself is a blend of 35 captures, stitched together to form the panoramic view. Each of the seven angles was bracketed with five exposures of ±1 EV to get both the bright sun and the shadows. This process highlights the intricate architectural details and the rich contrast between light and dark, offering a comprehensive portrayal of the cityscape when day gracefully transitions into evening.

Das Wirtshaus am Eingang beim Biergarten im Freilandmuseum Bad Windsheim, gleich beim Ausgang / Eingang
Ein nahezu herrschaftlicher Bau ist das ehemalige Gasthaus zur Krone aus Oberampfrach (1704/05), in dem einst auch Gericht gehalten wurde. Genutzt als "Wirtshaus im Freilandmuseum", befinden sich im Obergeschoss wie früher Gaststuben und ein Tanzsaal mit alter Einrichtung.

Hinten links die Birkkarspitze und rechts daneben die Ödkarspitzen an einem herrlichen tief verschneiten Wintertag.
Cloud was an ongoing challenge last night. The comet seemed to tack along the cloud line until it was eventually obscured. That said, the tail seems longer this weekend over last.
Tonight was the first time green light from the comet's deep core was visible.
