Growing as an escaped garden plant in my lawn (against the house). These plants get up to 12 feet tall, in my experience!

I think this is a variety of geranium, but I'm not sure. If anyone can positively ID this flower, I'd be grateful.

 

Edit: Thanks to an online friend, I've concluded this belongs to the Mallow family.
