i've been working on several different things at my new work station.
while cleaning out my grandparent's house earlier this summer i found some great things to draw over. pretty rad stuff.

my girlfriend snapped a cel phone picture of me ranting on at this guy while drinking a highlife. i had a talk with him and his girlfriend literally begged not to drag his name through the dirt so i paid him the respect of blurring his face and not going out of my way to ruin this guys name even though anyone with any common sense will probably say that he has it coming. one thing i'll say in this guy's defense is that he had good intentions and i am TRULY flattered to hear someone say they get inspiration from my or one of my friends artwork. but its just when you are selling that artwork as your own; well, i am just not kosher with that. whatever money he received for that work belongs to US. and that is regardless of him spending money to rent out the space; he should have known better...
and i've yet to understand why this keeps happening at THE SAME GALLERY!!!

International Folk Art Market Opening Ceremony at the Railyard, Santa Fe NM.
I used to listen to this band regularly at Ashkenaz in Berkley CA. I know them for at least 20, maybe 25 years, but this is their 2. visit to my knowledge to Santa Fe. Great to hear their sound right from my home. Perfect choice of a band for the wonderful occasion of the opening events of the Folk Art Market.
