Made from Elizabeth Hartman's Mixtape pattern.

Named for Highlife, a lively musical style that originated in Ghana. This quilt features Ghana Health Service Fabrics and their accompanying logo: "Your Health, Our Concern." Since baby Eli's mom worked with me in Ghana and bore witness to the beginning of my fabric obsession, it seemed the fitting way to welcome him.

The 9 green dots (there's one on the back) were originally an unexpected adornment on a dress that Eli's mom had made while we were there. After she cut them off, I saved them, knowing I'd find the right way to use them. :-)

10-11-2006 was our "1 year anniversary", meaning I have owned Rocky for 1 year.
