Quelques définitions :

 

- une photo "en pied" est une photo dans laquelle figure une personne entière (de la tête aux pieds).

 

- une photo "de plain pied" (avec un A dans "plain") ne signifie pas la même chose, puisque "de plain pied" veut dire "situé au même niveau, sans escalier". Donc "une photo de plain pied" ne signifie pas grand chose d'utile, à part peut-être que la photo a été prise au même étage que le modèle.

 

- une photo "de plein pied" (avec un E dans "plein") ne veut à peu près rien dire en français, et encore moins en photographie.

 

- une photo "de plaints pieds" est une photo de pieds douloureux, prise après une longue journée à se tenir debout. Par exemple. Mais cette expression n'est jamais utilisée.

 

- une photo "de plein de pieds" est une photo de scolopendre immobile ou en mouvement, prise avec un objectif macro à moins de 14 centimètre. Cette expression s'applique aussi à une photo panoramique prise à plat ventre avec un téléobjectif depuis un coin de la pelouse d'un terrain de football pendant la première mi-temps d'un match amical. Encore une fois, c'est une expression rarement utilisée.

My first day experimenting with high key for Class with Dave and Dave. This does not really look like me, cause I am smirking... yet you can't quite tell I am smirking due to the high-key-ness or overexposure (I don't know the difference if there is one).

Strobist info: Two cheap plug-in cowboy studio lights blowing out wall (light grey) 430 ex shoot thru umbrella camera right, vivitar 285 through shoot thru umbrella on ground camera left

Elia , our friend came to visit us from Carpeneda (Brescia) for a few days with Daniele. I made this shot tending toHigh Key with natural light and a 110cm reflector on the left side.

This is not a bar of soap it is a rock crystal. I think it is gypsum which is a clear glass like rock that is interesting to photograph. It doesn't reflect light the same way as glass or other shiny objects. I would like to spend more time using this rock to experiment with since it distributes light in a neat way.
