Yes, over the top but I just had to go there. I think the branch makes her look like she's wearing a crown.
Day 33 - 365, tried high key photography tonight.
the original image was supposed to be tea infusing into the water - it didnt work as expected and i kept getting a large amount of reflection on the side of the glass when the tea was added which spoilt the look i was going for.

Great work of the makeup artist - if you see how many thick long hair the model has - the bald head is unbelievable ...

High Key was one of the most interesting during the last challenge. Last time it was a portrait; this time it is back as inspiration.
"E' solo un ballo lento
nell'urgenza della voce
fra i battiti del tempo
fra i respiri del silenzio
nelle pieghe delle case
sulle pagine del mondo
la canzone
si scriverà
da sé
parlerà per me "
It's only a slow dance
in the urgency of the voice
between time's beats
between silence's breaths
in houses' bends
on world's pages
the song
will write itself
by itself
it will speak for me"

When I first started really getting interested in photography my friend showed me a picture by Chad Martel. This is my take on that photo. He is completely self taught and is primarily a photographer for rock bands and bikini models. I remembered thinking how cool it was that he was a self taught photographer...inspiring.
This is my first go at high key photography...please let me know if it is not right!
My bathroom is completely white (how horrid) and that is where my studio was this afternoon. ;) There is a big window across from the door so i think it worked out well for an even light source.
