This is heavily edited cuz' I only got off one quick shot of this little hummingbird on the cherry tree branch, It was badly exposed due to the grey sky background. I think it is a female Anna's hummingbird, Calypte anna.

Messing around with image manipulation.

Saint Projet

Couloir coude with a smart tumulus.

Found on an inside edge of a military camp with strict rules of trespass and regular exercises. There are down times throughout the year and officials. The dolmen is well cared for and with the tumulus is away from paths used by tanks and the like. It's all a little like barrows on Salisberry plain. This was taken at the end of a day and into the sun.

One day back in the north and I wasted no time stealing W. for a pictoral excursion. We tried out a location a little closer to home this time (W.'s parents expansive property) and we each brought along clothes for costume changes.

A half hour northwest of Princeton is the tiny gold panning town of Coalmont. Located on a Tulameen river floodplain, Coalmont Road, and Kettle Valley Railroad portion of the Trans Canada Trail. The only public utilities are landline phones and electricity. There are no stores and only one stop sign. Current population is around 100, which is about the same as the town's age.

The hotel, by the way, is up for sale.
