A view of three locomotives being worked upon by HNRC at Barrow Hill:
47815 "Great Western" is still owned by Riviera Trains based at Crewe however it, along with 47812 and 47843, are being used by GB Railfreight based out of Doncaster.
After partial overhaul at Carlisle Kingmoor and Glasgow Springburn Works, DRS's 37422 was moved to HNRC at Barrow Hill for rectification work and its overhaul to continue. Some bodywork issues remain to be seen to and, as can be seen, the multiple-working plug is a relatively recent addition.
Finally, Europhoenix's second locomotive 37884 can be seen on the far right of the picture. In comparison with 37800, this locomotive has been fully restored at Washwood Heath and is at HNRC for the completion of its overhaul and load banking. It is undergoing the latter in this picture and the associated wiring can be seen trailing from the side of the locomotive.
The class 47 is in service whilst both 'tractors' will be in service within the next year. Taken with permission on 07/12/2014.
